

Roasted Chickpeas (aka Garbanzo Beans)

Cook Time: 20-30 Minutes

Salty
Ingredients:

1 can or tetra pack of garbanzo beans

2-3 tbs of Olive Oil
-
2 tsp of Spices - chili powder, curry powder, garam masala, cumin, paprika, rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley, etc. (use as few or as many as you like)

1/2 tsp Salt
Directions:

Preheat oven to 400.
-
Open and drain breans.
-
Rinse the beans well under cool water
-
Lay them out on a paper towel and and dry them as much as possible (without smushing them)

In a bowl, mix the beans, spices, salt and olive oil well.

Lay the beans out on a lightly greased baking sheet
-
Bake for 20-30 minutes (depending on how crunchy you would like them.
Sweet
Ingredients:

2 tbs of Coconut Oil
-
1 tablespoon honey
-
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
-
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:

Preheat oven to 400.

In a bowl, mix the beans, coconut oil, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg
